Finding my direction

Currently I’m on week 16 out of 24 on Technigo’s frontend boot camp. And let me tell you, I’m still having such a blast learning new and modern stuff every day! I love how the boot camp keeps on piquing my curiosity week after week.

This last sprint we’ve been on has been a real deep dive into the wonderful world of React and Redux. It’s been inspiring, fun, challenging, frustrating and demanding — all at the same time. Honestly, I wouldn’t have it any other way. This is definitely an environment where I feel at home and where I learn a lot.

But time flies! The harsh reality is that it also means the boot camp will be over soon. Then it’s time for me to take that step into the tech industry. I feel both excited and nervous. But mostly excited since that means I get to start my new career as a frontend developer and continue to learn new and advanced things.

So until that moment I land a job I’m going to keep at it. For me, it’s about letting my curiosity guide me and showing up in front of the keyboard and just code. I’m certain I’ve found my direction now.
